We have brand new photos that show the inside of the i5 for the first time!

On the outside of the car it's the same camouflage that's been seen on previous sightings.

Inside BMW's curved display will be inside the i5. BMW is clearly using less physical buttons in favor of touch screens.

Overall there will be 3 versions of the 5 Series. Like the 7 Series there will be an EV, hybrid, and combustion model available.

The i5 could share some of the specs of the BMW iX xDrive40: an electric motor at the rear, and optionally one at the front axle too, with a combined output of 300 hp, a 0-60 time of around 6 seconds and a 70 kWh battery pack with a range above 400 km / 250 miles. BMW could also consider a higher ’50’ variant with a 100 kWh battery and 500 hp.

The debut is still some years away with the 5 Series set for a release in 2023 as an 2024 model.
